About the Order of Malta's Asia Pacific Camp More than just a camp for young people with disabilities
See you in Hong Kong November 1st, 2026
About the Order of Malta
The Order of Malta, one of the oldest institutions in Western and Christian civilization, is devoted to upholding human dignity and care for people in need through its medical, social and humanitarian works. Every year, the Order of Malta holds the International Summer Camp for Disabled Youth, in a different country - Italy, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Hungary, Spain, Germany and Lebanon, to mention a few. The first Order of Malta Summer Camp for Youth with disabilities was held in 1984. Our goals are the same now as they were then: to forge a sense of community, promote cultural exchange and help young people to overcome personal barriers.
What makes this event different from other camps?
Empower youth with disabilities
We empower youth with disabilities to overcome personal barriers by encouraging a sense of team spirit.
Build relationships
We create a loving and friendly environment so that youth with disabilities can easily mingled with people of the same age, have fun and build friendships.
Multi-nationals
We have guests and volunteers coming from many different countries. Friendships are forged across language and cultural barriers.
Once in a life time experience
We enable people with disabilities and young volunteers to experience various activities - sport games, cultural visits or staying up late at the disco dance.
